What do you need to be the best version of you?
The answer to this question may lie in how you think about yourself and how you think about life.
Do you think life is about achievement, doing, working, getting? Or do you think that life is about experiencing, feeling, being?
Where does the best version of you make an appearance? In the achieving, or in the experiencing? Probably somewhere between the two, maybe leaning more towards the achieving, or maybe with a preference for the experiencing. But you will be somewhere along that line between doing and being.
And where do clothes and how you look come in on that equation? Do you think that it is vanity to spend time on yourself, or do you feel that what you wear and how you look is a form of self care which is fundamental to our being-ness?
Again I think we are all somewhere along that line, either towards one end of it, or towards the other.
What I want to talk about today is how to be that best version of yourself. Being the best version of yourself, as I hinted at above, is a unique state of being. No-one else will ever be the best version of you, except for you.
We all have times of crisis when we question whether our lies are turning out the way that we hoped they would. These are time of soul searching: divorce, illness, bereavement, redundancy.
For many of us life seems to jog along quite happily. And then small seeds of doubt or anxiety creep in. The toll of family life becomes a burden and you feel that your true self is lost in the woman you have accidentally become. Or you pay attention to your work to the detriment of your personal health and wake up one day, pre-diabetic, out of condition and struggling to fit into your clothes.
It may seem, at those times, that you have dug yourself a hole that is difficult to climb out of.
But in fact, the best version of you is always available to you.
The best version of yourself doesn’t lie in either what you do, or how you think about yourself.
The best version of you lies in a decision. And that decision is simply to turn up today as the best version of you. It’s a simple as that.
The problem is that sometimes we get stuck. And when we get stuck we all need a helping hand.
This is why we do the work that we do at Working Frocks. It is all about helping you to be the best version of yourself at whatever stage of life you find yourself.
And this is particularly why we developed Lose 5, Stylise, Organise.
Lose 5, Stylise, Organise is designed for women who want to be the best version of themselves but feel that they never quite get there.
Whether you don’t feel like you look your best you every day, in fact, ever.
Or feel that you are never organised enough when it comes to what to wear (and your heart sinks every time you open your wardrobe and face the mess within).
Or you just feel that your personal styling and grooming are out of hand, or non-existent.
You need a formula or strategy to get there but don’t know where to find a plan that will really help you get results quickly.
Lose 5, Stylise, Organise: the success formula
How would your year change if you were given a formula so that in a really short period of time you could:
Lose 5lbs;
Create your own unique personal style where you feel excited to be you:
Organise your wardrobe/closet into an oasis of calm?
Imagine if I waved my magic wand and in 4 short weeks you;
are able to glide back into your (currently) slightly too snug clothes
get dressed each day from an excited sense of understanding your personal style and who you are
open the door every day to beautifully organised clothes (and kick wardrobe drama into touch!).
Imagine feeling prepped and ready for each and every day.
Imagine feeling in control of your life,
of curating your clothes like an art expert,
of feeling that today, on this day, I am good.
Life is constantly evolving and changing. And there is no ‘end game’ in being you. You are constantly evolving. Even your body renews itself right down to the cellular level.
But if you wake up today and think, it’s good to be me, then you are evolving and becoming the best version of you.
Come on that journey with us. It’s a small investment for a month that will give you the space and the opportunity to make that decision, Today I am the best version of me, and give you the tools to make it happen.
See you there! Have a great day,
Sarah
