Flirty, Flowy and Feminine at Royal Ascot

It all started with Princess Haya, wife of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.  She looked absolutely stunning at Ladies Day yesterday:

So then Working Frocks got thinking about flowy, flirty, feminine skirt shapes….and noticed the Countess of Wessex…

Flowy skirts look so feminine and fresh and summery, even on quite a cool, cloudy day.  They look much less corporate dressing and much more I know how to dress for the occasion. Working Frocks notice that there are skirts with shape and volume in the upcoming Autumn/Winter fashions.

Fashion trend-wise skirts with shape and volume are where it’s at, as Chanel show…

Working Frocks have skirts with movement coming up for next season too:

Back to Royal Ascot, which is keeping us all entertained this week.  ….more skippy skirts.  Such a pleasure to see day-wear worn really well, to see women knowing that it’s not cocktail wear, it’s not party wear, it’s beautiful, appropriate daywear.  It’s such good fun.  We are posting this and then turning our attention to the Coronation Cup.  Enjoy!
